Regional Sales Manager

Our client is a 20 year-old, Minnesota-based company that provides quality CNC machined and powder coated composite wood parts to the point-of-purchase/point-of-sale market.  This growing company is expanding rapidly so we are looking for a home office-based salesperson to sell custom engineered solutions directly to corporations.  Their goal is to expand their market reach into new P.O.P./P.O.S. customers that are unaware of their unique coating process and its numerous benefits over existing, antiquated processes.

Job Responsibilities:
The primary focus will be developing new customers by leveraging our strategic advantage of powder-coated wood vs. other alternative finishes (laminate, thermofoil, wet-painted wood, solid-surface products, etc.).  Your day will include phone, email and face-to-face contact with design-oriented, corporate departments and independent merchandising firms – many of whom are not familiar with wood powder coating or its extensive advantages.


Success includes:
-Identifying and growing vertical markets that are a natural fit to our strengths

-Leveraging our market leading position to open new accounts
-Developing strong customer relationships that lead to repeat business

Job Rewards:
This position will be the point person for our POP/POS market expansion and will report directly to the President. We are a sales-oriented company with a sales-first culture that comes straight from our President and his sales background. Our process is completely team-oriented as you will receive extensive engineering, product management and manufacturing support in order to grow your customer base. This position includes a base salary plus an uncapped commission plan.
